A special antique Victorian locket crafted in 18ct Yellow Gold showcasing a wonderful star set with a Pearl in the centre and bordered with beautiful floral engravings which follow onto the reverse of the piece also.

Star images became popular during the late 19th Century as an interest in astronomy grew. Stars symbolise guidance and are seen to lead you in the direction you are meant to go.

The locket is complete with original rims and window within and was discovered containing a cherished lucky four-leaf clover inside. It is unclear when this clover was found but it is certainly lucky to have been preserved this long and was probably very dear to its previous owner.

It is a wonderful find and perfect to store your own cherished photos or mementos within.
